What happens next?
Once you have found a property you like and the terms for the tenancy have been agreed, there will be a few pieces of administration that you must complete. At this stage a holding deposit will be required from you which usually equates to one week’s rent, this is held while we take up your references.
As a letting agent we have a legal obligation to prove you have the right to rent in the UK – you will therefore be asked to show your original passport, your visa and / or a government share code. You will also be asked to complete an online form with our referencing partner in order that we can confirm your financial history and credit rating, as well as that your employment status and previous tenancy conduct.
The tenancy terms will then be agreed by both parties and signed accordingly.
